Sunita Lyn "Suni" Williams, born on September 19, 1965, in Euclid, Ohio, is a distinguished American astronaut and retired U.S. Navy officer. She holds the record for the most spacewalks by a woman, totaling nine, with an accumulated time of 62 hours and 6 minutes.
Early Life and Education:
Williams graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Science. She later earned a Master of Science in Engineering Management from the Florida Institute of Technology in 1995.

Initially planned as an eight-day mission, technical issues with the Starliner led to an extended stay. Consequently, their return has been rescheduled, and they are now expected to return to Earth aboard a SpaceX vehicle in March 2025.
